With new glasses

This morning I woke up with bad mood or should I say that it was only low energy due to low blood pressure? I observed it, I wasn't attached to it, because I knew it would go away soon. To support this process I took a cold shower. Not really surprised I could observe that the cold water on my skin influenced my mood for the better.
Do anything, I said to myself, but do not only hang out. So I went downtown to pick up my new glasses. My eyes got worse - 1 diopter on each eye within the last 4 years. This is a lot, now it is clear why it became difficult to read. The new glasses cost me 170 Euro. I have a health insurance, they promise to cover difficult surgeries, but glasses are no more covered. Money runs through my fingers.
Afterwards I had breakfast in an Italian cafe. Weather is warm and sunny, a wonderful fall day.

Crisis here in Europe, too. I watch TV (CNN and n-tv) to update me regularily.
Should count my money.

You are an accountant. Crisis hits us hard and you won't find a job anymore. I just wonder: Why do you spend € 170 on a pair of glasses, when you can have them for € 20???
Why do you have breakfast in an Italian café in Germany's most expensive city, when you can have a wonderful breakfast at home for almost nothing? Why do you spend € 20 for a yoga class when there are new Mysore and Ashtanga classes at the Jivamukti Yogaloft in Müllerstrasse from November on with an excellent teacher who gives a lot of adjustments and a lot of care to her students. (Jen is her name and she is great!)for € 16 for a single class and €12 per class if you buy a "25er Karte". Why do you hire a cleaning woman in a country with the highest labour costs instead of cleaning yourself - hey, you got all the time in the world! Why do you spend hours on the web to blog and read other blogs (surftime €€€€€€€)or waste money on a flatrate instead of doing without all this nonsense distraction, use this time more effectively and save money, too? No, I will never understand you.

Hi U -
I read in our papers yesterday that the DAX was down 7%. Sorry!!

I know what you mean about the money - it's like water isn't it?

Hahaha anonymous,
I could write somthing to each and every argument you mentioned. Sorry, I am too lazy to do it.

You needn't understand me. For what.

Thank you for reading.

Hi Marie,

It might be a good opportunity to invest.
In 5 years the crises is over, I am sure.

The Dax is like the practice - it goes up and down. :)

Oh, Ursula -
You handle these things so beautifully! I read and I learn...

So, good for you! I read that the list is step by step getting done. The bicycle, the fridge, the acceptance of the new glasses and then getting them. When you look back, then you see how far you have come by taking one step at a time.

Have you decided on presents for your parents?

And, yes, although a young good-looking guy would be nice, it is also good to be strong!

Namaste and good day to you with a nice practice!

Thank you my friends.

Glasses are expensive, there are cheaper ones, but you get what you pay for in my experience.

Having a teacher you trust and are confident to be adjusted by is worth the money.

Have a nice weekend

Hi Kev, I have not ordered a new frame. I only ordered glasses.I didn't pay for anything redundant. I have a cylinder on one eye and that's what makes the glasses expensive, I guess.

To have best glasses is important.
To have a beautiful frame is important, too. I would spend a lot of money for this, too. I want to look beautifully with glasses, too.

Now I can read the TV programme again. What joy.

I have a prism on my right lens, which makes my glasses expensive, Zeiss lenses too, but like you, without them the TV is a blur.

Enjoy the party tomorrow
