Hi Claudia, they must be eaten freshly. Best is when they are still warm. I think it is difficult to deliver them for this reason. And I think it is difficult to import food to the US.Come to Munich, I will go with you to this place. :)Or find a German bakery in NY. This should exist.

Hi Claudia, I checked the web for German bakeries in NYC. I had not much luck. The cakes simply taste different in the US because of the water, I learned.....Some food you can only get in some countries.Spaghetti taste best in Italy, too.
