Back bending preparations

Usually before we practice urdhva dhanurasana, we practice the bridge to prepare the body for the intensive back bending. Last time in the led class M taught us a very effective variation. We put the hands under the feet. That way it is possible to bring the shoulders more together and to open the chest much more. This is what back bending aims at: to open the chest.
The hips go upwards. The picture does not really show what this pose can do. I was too tired and exhausted yesterday and I only have 20 sec to take a picture with the self-timer. The picture shows how the preparation pose can be done, this shall be enough. I am too lazy to picture this again. Try it and see.....
